It does not, however, give me willpower to do anything creative.  Must find incense that does this and has a scent that compliments cha . . . ()

I've been quietly collecting them for a while now, but wanted to share some pictures from that collection. They are meant to be represent . . . ()

Heretics, my novella from NaNo 2006 is next for my editorial chopping block.  Fixing it won't require nearly as much work as Mystic Nation, thank God.  (It also offers my far less chance to butcher it the way I accidentally butchered Mystic Nation's opening chapters during the editorial pr . . . If the road to hell is paved with good intentions, I've written myself right into the Sixth circle. A few weeks ago, I started an ambitious little project to write 1,000 words a day come hell or high water. You've been bombarded with updates on this journal. This also happens to be the exact moment in the story that I really need them to get along. Every writer has their own way of knowing wh . . . ()

When designing a character, it's amazing how radically different the image in your head can be from the image you end up with. This portrait is proof of that. Maybe its because it's the first time I've ever painted a character without first doing a few sketches of how I wanted them to look . . . ()

(title taken from author Sarah Monette's blog) A few random first lines of things I am contemplating writing. I'm trying to decide which would make the best project for NaNo 2007.   Ascension (Jinx sequel): Friday night, Mannon received a call from England telling him his father was dead. H . . . ()

Words written (so far) today:  1,114 (on Heretic, Chapter Eight  Seven). That doesn't count all the rewriting of code for this blog and my NaNo blog.   Or the page-long and growing rant/entry that will soon be posted to this blog. I am victoriious!  For today anyway. And . . . ()
